Muddy Water Bass

Featured Replies

I got my third bass from my new pond yesterday. Probably around 3.5 pounds, not the best picture. On a black and blue jig with a black and blue paca chunk trailer.

He doesn't really look like he came out of muddy water. Nice fish though.

The pond has about 6 to 8 inches of visibility, Ive been here since November and it never seems to clear up. Seems pretty muddy to me.

Nice fish, there are a few places like that around me.  In the winter they are muddy/stained......but come summer they clear up nicely when the grass and weeds start to grow.  So this summer you get some weed growth it may clear up quite a bit.

The lake I fish never has a visability of more than 10 inches, yet it produces some really nice sized bass.

Hootie[/qoute]I believe it, but I personally have never seen a bass that dark come out of muddy water. At least, not what I would call muddy water.

Yeah, I know what you're talking about. My lake isn't muddy. It's just dark green water. I've caught bass from muddy water that were very pale in color.
