I was wondering if anyone knew of any good places that are in the lower end of the lower peninsula that i could catch a couple pike when i have a day off.

    Depends on the exact area you'll be. I've caught pike while bass fishing on Thompson Lake in Howell and the Michigan Center chain of lakes near Jackson. From my understanding there are people who troll the MC chain specifically targeting pike.

    Had you ever tasted pike chunked, breaded  and deep fried it would be plain to see why they target them.I view them differently than times past.
