I'll be taking my first trip to Guntersville next week for five days.  We'll be staying in the honeycomb campground and plan to fish around there and also around Guntersville. 

 

Can anyone let me know any specific areas to target and what kind of baits the bass are hitting on?

 

How clear is the water?

 

I've been reading of a lot of people fishing weed lines with Rat-l-traps.

The bass elite pros got a tourney this week I would pay close attention to that and see what they were smoking them on and where.. Should be some big bags..

^ They'll have some live coverage on bassmaster so you can really see everything.  The bait, color, how fast they're working it, how deep, etc.

I'd say it may be the best scouting report you'll ever have going on a lake
