touch up paint

Featured Replies

well a lot of my baits have been beaten by rocks and logs and just other things and have had the paint scratched or chipped and i was wondering what brand and type of paint you guys use for touch up jobs and what kind of tools such as paintbrushes, Q-tips etc. you use to do it because not only do i need to touch up my baits but I'd really like to custom paint some stuff as well .

thanks for reading,

-Sam

Looks like I'm the first to respond-though my response is limited.  I would suggest you never use Q-tips for anything except, perhaps, cleanup.  The miniscule fibers in a Q-tip will separate and mix with any paint you attempt to use-messing up your paint job.

As to which paints to use, I'm sure with some research on this site and others, you can find some appropriate types.
