I have been thinking about downsizing my fishing rod arsenal. I have been looking at the iRod Genesis II 7' HF because i was interested in one all around good rod that can multi-task. The ratings are 1/4 - 1 1/4 oz., 10-20lb line, Fast action.  This seems to cover the multitude of weights and lures that I predominantly use. 

 

I was thinking to use this for lipless cranks, spinnerbaits, jigs, worms/creatures/jerkbaits, chatterbaits, small swimbaits, and frogs. 

 

Does anyone have this model in particular and how does it fish? I have the 7'5" Fred's Magic Stick and love how light and sensitive it is, so I am a believer in the iRod Genesis Series.

 

What are your thoughts on my idea for one general duty rod?
