Looks more like a shad than a shad.  Nice paint job.  Hope it runs as nice as it looks.

Thanks alot  ;) Didn't paint in though, well just the tops and bottoms its a photo finish.

Oh.  Well, nice job anyway.

I've been thinking of abandoning my model airplane hobby and moving to making crankbaits instead.  Some of the equipment is the same and I fish anyway so...

Yeah give it a shot deffinately alot of fun and pretty neat when you catch that first fish on a lure you made

Dan

Good looking bait.   On the next one you need to cut the lip slot deeper, that lip will be easy to break out.

Were you looking for a wake bait with that one or a shallow diver?

Dan,

The bait is drop dead beautiful.

So gald you copied Dave's model as Dave is super at swim baits.

Go out and fish it and send some pics back of what you catch.  ;)

So big M you really think thats gonig to be a problem with the lip its in the wood over 1/4" and never really had a problem before ???

Well just had it out the other day and it swims great almost like a snake in the water. Floats head up looks pretty natural in the water i think. Would liek to post a video but not sure how
