I recently aquired a Bass boat and have started tourney style Bass fishing ( no live bait ) on the Harris Chain in  Central Florida.  I'm looking for a no boat partner who is familiar with Tourney style fising to share expenses and knowlege for weekly mid week fishin.  I am retired and fish during the week to avoid the week-end crowds.

That's a great offer. Believe me, that doesn't happen in my neck of the woods unless you have a resume and try out's first. Seriously! LOL... It's like some elite club and if you ain't in, you ain't getting in. Hope you find a good person to fish with that you can enjoy fishing with, win or not. Have fun and enjoy the boat.

Sorry I cant fish with you but:

A: I already have a boat.

B: Florida's a long ways away.  

I have a friend I fish with quite often who doesn't have a boat. He's just as passionate as I am, if not more so. He's always thankful when I take him out, and I always remind him how much I appreciate having a friend that can hang that long on the water. Most people get bored if they're not catching a fish every 5 minutes.

To bad I don't live closer to ya, I would fish with ya! In case your not familiar, there are lots of fishing clubs in your area that you can join. Most have non-boaters as well as boaters. When there is a tourney, the boaters draws a non-boater to fish with or vice versus, not necessarily as a team. Check it out, if you can't find anyone to fish with here.  Also a tourney like that, it's harder for someone to cheat and get away with. That way you feel the playing field is more level and your money throwing away your money...

My post is a little misleading.  I don't necessisarily want to fish tournaments, I just want a partner who knows something about Bass fishing techniques ie. flippin, pitchin etc.

I have done well in Ohio Bass club tourney fishin ( made it to the State championship twice in 3 years ) so I have knowlege about fishin tourneys, I just don't wnat to shell out the $ for a tourney in Florida untill I figure out how to fish here, it's way different than in Ohio.
