Anything where you need to take up slack quickly. Bottom contact baits. I use high gears for everything except deep cranking.

    Frogs, pitchin/flippin', buzzbaits. Also good for burning spinnerbaits and lipless cranks.

    5.0:1 or 5.5:1

    5:4:1 for deep cranks or slow rolling...6:4:1 works fine as well. High speed reels will wear you out reeling in moving baits with lots of resistance. I use a revo rocket and other high speeds for jigs and flipping/pitching, gets the bait back fast for another pitch.
