Do It Yourself Rod Guide Fixing

Featured Replies

I bought a rod guide kit with various sizes #1 to #6. What I don't know is are the size #1's the smaller ones in the kit or the largest ones. The reason I'm asking is I would like to get even smaller ones than what the kit came with but not sure if to get smaller ones if I need to go with the higher number or smaller number? Thanks in.advance fellas.

Smaller is smaller. Measured in millimeters of the outer ring. A size one would be tiny so the guides are sized a way I'm not familiar with.

If you really wanted the correct guide measure with calipers or call the manufacturer and order from a rod building supplier.
