Ohio Berlin Lake?!

Featured Replies

Yo fell Ohioans!

Want to get out on the lake for the first time but I am kind of limited this weekend, so I won't be able to make it out to Erie. Anyone been to Berlin or anywhere close? Having any luck?! Thanks in advance!

Not Berlin but I have fished lake-o-springs that is right next to it a couple times this year and caught quite a few. My advice is don't fish there though because it's private and no fishing is allowed :) I couldn't resist because you said anywhere close and it is the closest you can get to Berlin.

Can't shoot any ducks on there either.

I've fished Berlin in the past, but not this year.  I won't be going out there until May 31st for a club tournament.  I know that TBF/FLW will hold the State Tournament there in the fall, and if I qualify I will be heading back there at that time.

Berlin in my opinion is a very tough lake! I think your best bet is throwing a tube and dropshot around the rip rap. All the bridges have helped me out to catch bass. Also look around for riprap banks and throw that tube and dropshot.

Berlin is easy, Flip, Flip and do some more fliping.
