First Time Fishing Offshore At This Lake, Need Advice.

Featured Replies

Hey all,

I am going to be fishing a lake tomorrow from a kayak, first time fishing off the bank at this lake.

The fishing is supposedly a lot more productive here once I get off the shore so I am looking to get into some fish.

It is a 21 acre lake and probably around 5-6 feet deep.. Not too sure.

Right now I plan to toss a lipless crankbait around and maybe a jig.. Fish are in prespawn

Any advice would be appreciated!

Thanks

Must be my lucky day: the only Rapala DT6 I have is in craw color.

Be careful who see you there, boats are prohibited.

I've heard there are a few decent bass there.
