Got out today fishing from kayak for the first time (in freshwater)

Got 6 fish total, ranging from 12 to 14 inches long, caught one on a jig and the rest on a lipless crankbait

    I have the Lews BB1 Pro speed spool on it. Anything Lews for around the same price of the rod should be just fine. I always spend more on the reel than the rod. The Lews BB1 is on sale for $140, I would check that out.

    Ok thanks for the info I saw the bb1 on sale looks like that's what I'm going to get either that or an Lfs.
