We finally have open water here in Maine. My home lake opened on the 20th. I made it out last Sunday, 26th with a buddy and fished from about 6:30 to 12:30, boating 51 together. Most on a jerkbait with a few on a trap. Not much for size but the action was good and I finally had a year where I caught one on my first cast of the year. Biggest was one I got about 4 and change I would guess. Water was 44 in the cove and 41 main lake.

 

This was big fish for the day.

 

This one was on a custom airbrushed, 1 of 1, bait I had a friend do for me. I was pretty excited when I got one on my first cast with it.

 

And this is some video I shot with my son's GoPro. This was my first time using it and making a vid so please excuse the crudeness of it....
