I use Green Pumpkin , Water Melon Candy Red and Black & Blue (depending on water clarity and sky conditions) ... Use a C-Rig or  T- Rig to drag the bottom in short bursts  or slowly raise & drop retrieve using a 3/0 or 4/0 EWG hook , add some scent and you will get bit - cool hook slot and good basic action without being over the top plus good durability. I would also have no quelms throwing it weightless or with a pegged bullet weight to flip & pitch with it into light to moderate cover . Very under rated bait - I have great confidence in it and consider it to be in the  top upper third of ALL lizard baits available.

Although it doesn't come in all the colors of say Zoom lizards , the construction (hook slot) of the Boss Dog allows for a more streamlined , better look once rigged . For me , a soft plastic that is easier to rig and looks better once rigged is a confidence booster - hope this review helps !

Thanks Chris appreciate it. Will probably pitch with it tomorriw if frog bite turns off.
