Nitro Livewell

Featured Replies

Hello, I have recently got a used 2006 Nitro 591(similar to z7) and have gotten used to it. One thing I can't figure out is how to get the recirculate/ pump out switch to work. I try it with the valve in my Livewell pushed in and out and nothing works. I have just noticed that the light doesn't come on so I was wondering if anyone has an easy solution for this or if I need to get it checked out by a professional. Thanks

If you are comfortable and know how to test for power with a test light, you can do it yourself. If not, leave it to a pro. I'd start by testing for power at the switch. If there is power there, go to the next spot downstream; if no power, back up to the next spot upstream. Did you check fuses? Sounds like no power to the switch if no light comes on. If you had a light, then I would go with the pump.

Thanks for the help. The switch and light worked when current flowed through them. It turned out that there was a 5 amp fuse installed when the switch said 10 amp. It works fine now.

Nice! Glad to hear it.
