It took some time to get the swimbait painted and centered on the blank. Quite a few redo's before I felt it looked good enough to epoxy. I thought I'd also mention if you are going to attempt to modify a full cork handle over to a split grip, I was told you have to fill the area where you removed the threads where the foregrip was w/5 minute epoxy. so water doesn't get in there. Once dry, a light coat of acrylic paint to match the blank prior to epoxying. The nice thing with the Crucial swim bait rod,is that the winding check was rubber, so after filling w/5 minute epoxy and painting, I slid the check down and epoxyed it to the top of the threads. Thanks once again for the help!

I should be adding some paint to it and thinking about trying something cool in the next flex coat you'll see if it works if not I'll hide it lol
