Fishing Smith Mountain Next Weekend And Looking For Some Advice

Featured Replies

Hi guys, My Dad and I are coming up to SML next Thursday and fishing thru Saturday. We will be fishing for largemouth and hopefully some smallmouth. We live in NC and fish every weekend. Our water color is very stained. We are both pretty versatile anglers and are comfortable fishing plastics, jigs and moving baits. We are staying at the bridge but do not have an issue with running the lake to catch fish. Can you guys give us some good ideas as to what baits are hot right now and the depth or type of water we should be looking for? Thanks guys!
