I went out this morning with a goal. I wanted to catch my first smallmouth bass. I headed out to Twin Creek and found a spot that looked good. My first cast and the smallie in the pic below was ready and waiting. I caught her on a BPS bitsy tube in watermelon/chartruese. She came in at 1.91lbs.

Of course the next cast I lost the tube and like a dummy I didn't bring that color with me. I tried other things and nothing else worked. I ended up finding some BPS double dipped tubes in green pumpkin red flake. I caught another 1lb smallie and some rock bass.

I had a blast and only fished in one spot. I look forward to walking the bank and pulling in aome more, and bigger, smallies..
