Here's some info about the weedless hooks I use for plastics.

Eagle claw

#449W. #6,#4,#2,#1,#1/0,#2/0,#3/0,#4/0.

#151W. #3/0, #4/0, #5/0.

#249W. #6,#4,#2,#1,#1/0,#2/0,#3/0,#4/0,#5/0.

I purchase any brand too. There are some better buys online at the auction sights. You can buy eagle claws there too. Look for sales and clearances too. Buy a 5 pk. To hold you over till a better buy comes along. Shop smart and buy more for less it keeps me fishing.

The weedless spring is my strike indicator. If I get a tap and miss it and it comes up open its a strike and a miss. If it comes up closed my bait bumped something.

When selecting a hook size I always go one hook size larger.

I find I get more hookups using the larger hook.

Tip, when purchasing new different plastics before you go fishing check the plastics out to make sure you have the correct hook size for it.

Example, I purchased the BPS STIK O WORMS size 7 1/4" I never knew these were so large. I went fishing without seeing them. I put the largest hook I had in it. I'm fishing the drop off and as the worm got close to were I could see it a very large bass had it in its mouth. I seen a small part of the worm sticking out. I froze not being sure if the hook would set properly. The seconds felt like minutes passing by. I finally went for the hookset and missed it. I watched possibly a new state record swim away. We do learn something new on every trip this one was costly. I was in a rush to go fishing and didn't do my homework first. You learn from my mistakes. I was new to senkos fishing back then.

Hook size really matters.

Remember to bring a kid fishing often.
