    They are a good rod if you can get them for less. The problem with them is that just about every other rod in that price range is really good, they weigh less and have more responsive blanks with better components. If you get one at a good price I'd say grab one, but at the current price I'd add $20 and get a GL3, those are much better than the GL2.
