What Do I Cast

Featured Replies

I have a big pond i bass fish that has a lot of pressure. But I did catch a nice  #8 there a few weeks ago. The thing is i cast strait out into the pond with cut bait for catfish when i caught it! But i figured out that their are a couple of trees in the middle of the pond where i was casting, and a few people catch nice #5-10 ' ers off of it. What i want to know is what would be some good baits to catch fish over this snag(14 ft. deep) with? I'll post the pic of the bass i caught by it. I'm thinking big slow moving baits- 10+in. worms, swimbaits- Any suggestions?

Nice fish!     I agree that a jig or a worm would be a good bait for that.

Thanks, any of you fish super high pressure areas? What would you throw in a hydrilla infested pond?---- None on direct surface-----
