Phenix Maxim And Irod Genesis Ii Rod Help

Featured Replies

I live and fish in PA.  I have always used spinning set ups for my texas and Carolina rigs, but I want to try them on a baitcaster set up.  I have always wanted to get a Phenix rod and/or an irod Genesis II so I figure this is my chance.  I was surprised to see that Phenix  does not make any medium action casting rods.  Anyone have the MH and use it for these applications?  Does it work well and is it sensitive enough?  I am used to the feel of M or MH spinning rods for this.  As for irod, they make a ton of different models of the Genesis.  Who has them and which would you recommend for c-rigs and t-rigs?  Keep in mind, these are Pennsylvania bass, not Florida or Texas bass...two and three pounders are the norm, four or better are the exception.
