Reel Question

Featured Replies

The line guide on my Pflueger sometimes sticks on the right side. I oiled the worm gear (I believe that's what it's called), and it stopped for a while, but it's starting to do it again. Any quick fix for this problem? Don't have the funds for another reel and I won't for a while so it's pretty critical that this one functions until I get a job.

If you have cleaned and oiled the worm gear and pawl assembly then your problem is a worn pawl. Should only cost a few bucks.

Didn't clean it, just oiled. I'll try to get to it tomorrow if I'm not too busy. Thanks for the input.
