Citica I

Featured Replies

I really don't understand all the arguing over brand vs brand on the forums lately. We all have our preferences of what we like and it what makes us human. At the end of the day we all have the same interest. Catching bass.

I have a Team Lite actually. I has 11 bearings, and my Aldebaran 50 with only 10 bearings is better in every way. Oh and I have a Calais DC too... worth every penny of $650.

Not exactly sure what your logic is on comparing a $240 reel to a $420 reel, but okay. I have a Team Lite also. No complaints.

Because according to you, because the Team Lite has more bearings... it MUST be better right?

You're taking what I said out of context. Obviously some bearings are better than others. I just don't feel the bearings are THAT much better in a Citica than an LFS...

This is without a doubt the "STUPIDEST" thread I have ever seen on this forum..

Obviously my point is that the amount of bearings doesn't make one reel better than another, its the design and engineering. And that LEWS has to be cheaper and offer more than Shimano to compete in the free market.

And they do offer more than Shimano for the price...
