Daiwa Lexa To Fit Falcon Bucoo

Featured Replies

What size Daiwa lexa 100 or 300 would fit a 6'8 or 7 ft med heavy falcon Bucoo? Also in TW the Daiwa lexa has the option models HL, P, and PL what does each one mean? Lastly what is your opinion on this combo?

100; 300 is the high capacity big bait reel. The H and P indicate retrieve speed and the L indicates left handed retrieve. I'm not a fan of the Lexa with the Tatula available for $100 or under and I find Falcon rods to be nothing special, especially at the lower end.

i've seen lexas on sale for aprox $60.00 and for that price you won't beat it both the new gen expellers and lexas are a great little reel. you want the 100 not the 300. the bucoo sticks are not bad a buddy of mine had a few again would i pay retail for one no,  but if you can find one on the cheap (walmart  had them in their clearance rod rack ) paired with the lexa you would have a solid setup.
