Here is a crankbait I painted this past week. The stripes were done using a q-tip. I held the airbrush about a foot

away from the bait to get the specks. Made it seem like the black fades into the white sort of. It came out with a neat look. Only down side was the clear coat had a reaction with a ring around the front hook and turned it yellow.

looks interesting. i haven't really seen anything like that.

That ought to work.  Good idea with the q-tip.
