I was in the process of adding red hooks to several crankbaits and a couple of swimbaits.  Then I was wondering if red fingernail polish w/ glitter would work on the bait body itself or is there something similar I could use to add a little blood on the baits?

fingernail polish will work but it will eventually come off.

You could try a red sharpie. Reapply when needed.
