How to-Lexan lips?

Featured Replies

I have a few lures(swimbaits) that need the lexan lip replaced, as well as a few blanks that need lips installed.

I'm wondering what are my options for cutting and shaping the lexan? I don't own a bandsaw.

Thanks in advance for your assistance :)

Lexan can be cut with a pair of kitchen shears or tin snips very easily. After cutting to rough shape then use a file or sanding block to trim to your final shape. A disc sander and bandsaw can really speed up the process but if you only need a few lips simple handtools will get the job done.

Thank you sir! Extremely appreciated :)
