I ordered an okuma stratus cs 35 on Ebay, and it came as left handed and I need to change it to right handed, but it was used so there weren't any instructions.  

 

I had assumed that you just unscrew the handle and change it to the other side, but there is a piece in that stays in the reel that needs to change sides also and I have absolutely no idea how to get it out of the reel.  It looks like I'm going to have to disassemble the entire reel unless there is some kind of trick I don't know about.  

 

Any advice?

Why are you switching it over to righty? All other reels are lefty

I have the same reel you just pop out the little black plastic piece & put it in the other side.
