I have another question about swim-baits, when i section a swim-bait, like make the joint part. Should I do anything special(es:shaping, weight placement..etc) to make the swimming motion, or does physics just work its magic?

trail and error- but be sure to leave enough space so the joints move freely, for weight i just try to weight it so it sinks how i want. Best way to learn is try different placment of weight and different section lengths

i find before i paint and drill holes for weights i electric tape outside my sealed plug and cast it into the water and see how it swims if it performs well then i drill it there not many errors if you do this and saves you the headache of mistakes just my 2 cents worth........al
