Yes Raider, Kenny Stabler passed away.

 

I saw him beat LSU 7-6 in Baton Rouge and he has always been one of my favorite players in college and the pros.

 

His book is a riot about his life on the Gulf Coast. If you can find a copy I think you will enjoy the read.

 

Colon cancer got him which is upsetting as colon cancer is so preventable.

 

This, once again, highlights the need for everyone to have their colonoscopy. It is an easy test and that is the reason the doctor went to medical school!

 

And after the Bama 7-6 win in Baton Rouge the Bear was asked about Stabler catching up and tackling the LSU player who had intercepted the ball and was heading for a touchdown. Here was Coach Bryant's response: " The LSU boy was running for a touchdown. Stabler was running for his life."

 

RIP Snake. You will always be one of the greatest.
