Yamamoto Yama Frog

Featured Replies

Has anyone played with this thing yet?

I was just looking at one of them at Dicks today, and man lemme tell ya.  This thing is a big ol honkin chunk of yummy looking goodness.

I was surpised at the size of it, its fairly large.   Maybe not in length, but it is certainly meaty.  This makes me see good things coming from this.   Obviously if it works right, it would be a decent buzz frog.   But also, this thing should make for a fine flippin bait.  Mostly though, when considering the idea of bulking up jigs, and buzzbaits n such....this thing speaks to me.

These are just first impressions.

I have a pack, black with blue flake. it sinks quite fast, so you're gonna need to burn it instead of hoppin it back. I haven't used it much, I think it would be a good trailer for a chatter bait if you want a bigger profile. Probably work well flipping too.
