Strange Day

Featured Replies

Was some tough jig fishing this past Sunday only managed three fish, maybe it was the heat. It started off normal, just skipping jigs under willows and logs.

Normal :eyebrows:

Looks normal... felt the tap, set the hook, and he came in sideways... snagged him thru the belly. Crushed the barb on the new jig to remove it. swam off fine, but I don't think he'll survive. :sad-021:

Fish seem to have a lot more leverage when they get foul hooked.

Happened to me last week set the hook put up a good fight thought to myself it's a good one! Pulled in a one pounder sideways both crankbait hooks got him in the side. Very disappointing haha

At least you caught something!  :Idontknow:
