Dobyns Dx763Sf

Featured Replies

I recently sold that rod. It just didn't do what I needed or wanted to do - fish and drag tube baits - even though it was a nice spinning rod. Depending on what you're wanting a long spinning rod for, I can recommend a different Dobyns Extreme.

Still looking for some peoples experience with this rod, shoot me a PM if you have any!

Looking for peoples opinions on this stick. Anyone?

What are you looking to use it for?

Wacky rig senkos, finesse jigs, shaky head...kind of an all around heavier finesse type of  fishing. My only concern is that the action is too slow (or seemingly whippy) compared to the 7'4" DX rods which i own a few of.

Valid concern, the 763 is definitely a slower rod than the 742 or 743.  The 743 is my personal favorite for what you've mentioned.
