Hello, I'm new to the site and really like it alot. Lot of good info on here. I want to get started in lure making and thought it would be best to try pouring plastics for starters. Where is the best place to get supplies, molds, plastic, etc. Any help and pointers would be appreciated. Can you make your own molds? Thanks again. :-/

If you type in plastics or molds in the search box many topics will come up for you to check out. also go on and check out the swap meet and flea market on the site and you may find someone selling different stuff that you want and can pick there brain a little.  I am just starting to play with plastics and some custom wood.  They catch fish but they are not pretty.

Go to www.tackleunderground.com to learn everything there is to know about pouring and then some.  I purchase most of my stuff from lurecraft, or Bears baits but there are plenty of other sources.  Good luck!

Those are the 2 that I use the most. Bearsbaits is a great place to get stuff from. They have good service and a forum for your questions. Tackleunderground is also a great site to learn and ask questions. Good luck.
