Tracker Guide V16 Casting Deck Help

Featured Replies

Hello all!  I love this site!  I just bought a used but amazing looking tracker guide v16.  I want to put a casting deck on at least half of it and remove the aluminum seats it has installed.  As well as put a trolling motor on the front and a fish finder.  I have no idea how to start this project or the best way to go about it.  I was thinking making it aluminum frame to keep it light but I will also need to balance the weight.  I have looked at other peoples projects on here but am hoping for someone that has done this already to a tracker v16.  Anything would help me out!  Thanks!

Tinboats.net is a great site to learn how to do this kind of stuff. I own a tin boat myself and have found a lot of info there. A few guys on here have also built boats the same way and will give you advice. Aluminum will be the best way to do it if 6iu have the skills and resources to do it.
