I am hitting up some local waters here in a few hours right from work.  I am having trouble deciding what I want to start out with on my all purpose setup.  I am open to anything.  

Conditions:  Most of the fish are done spawning but there might be a few straglers.  

                  83 degree weather and sunny but a storm front should be rolling in towards the end of       trip.

Setup 1:  Worm/Jig Rig  (probably texas rig something)

Setup 2:  Baitcaster (Going to try these new swimbaits I just got)

Setup 3:  Need help!  (Spinning rod/reel  8 Lb Test)  

I devoted this entire summer to trying new things so I am up for anything.  I was thinking about putting a small topwater on if it gets cloudy or wacky worm.  I read the seasonal articles and some say a spinnerbait.  I am over my head here and any help would be appreciated.

What is the water like?For example clarity (stained or clear) and the water temp roughly?

Water  is pretty clear usually. We had a lot of rain last week but I am assuming it has cleared up. The water temp I have no idea. I am in St. Louis and if I would guess I would say low 60s.
