So, as some of you already know, I have started a fisheries sciences club at Clarksville Middle School, with angler and student Anantha Patel. I am the GT Research Teacher at the school, and I thought the CFS would be a good idea. The club is known as Clarksville Fisheries Sciences. We mainly target bass, although we still dabble into fly fishing and nothing beats pulling out some slab bluegill. The club used to be an unofficial thing Ananth pulled together by bring groups of his friends fishing and hanging posters around because he and his friends were in Green School. I will be using this thread as a sort of journal about the founding of a middle school club and will post updates about our operation. But I have a question about club operations. Are there any companies out there that would help by donating fishing combos instead of discounts? Thanks.

Have you tried to approach BPS about the idea, they might be able to help in some way...

Have Bass Pro Shops helped schools in the past/

I honestly don't know the answer to that question, but it couldn't hurt to approach them and try and sell the idea.
