Recently Reopened Beaverdam Reservoir In Ashburn, Va

Featured Replies

I was wondering if anyone has had the chance to get back onto Beaverdam reservoir since it reopened (albeit temporarily) at the end of May. I remember about 10 years ago it was a solid place to fish, caught plenty of crappie and even the odd muskie out of there. But has anyone been out there recently?

It's only about 5 miles from the office, so it's really tempting to play a little hooky after lunch one of these days... maybe tomorrow. I'll post a report when I make it out there.

Went there a couple weeks ago.  The grass was wiped out but it's starting to grow back but not like before yet.  $4 to launch there now.

Any luck while you were there? I've heard rumors that the water looks rather barren, but I'm still looking to check it out. Guess I'm stubborn like that hehe.
