pretty simple little pattern here, but i like it :)

i was trying out my freehand skills with the lateral line. all i have to say is that its a good thing i cleared the body colors before painting the details, because i wiped it clean to start over several times :o

no final clear coats yet, better pics to come.

2manycrankb8's, i agree, and i would have put an eye on it, if i had one that would fit. i only have 6mm eyes and this one needs about a 3.5-4mm eye. i should have ordered 6mm ad 4mm, instead of just 6..... ::o

Looks great D. I have to agree, a 3-D eye will make it look even better. Either way, nice work.

I use 3d eye's alot but painted eye's can look good to with some practice. Get you an assortment of drill bit's and use the bottoms to dip in the paint. Dont put the pupil right in the middle, trust me , it look's goofy. Line it up with the front of the eye or bottom. I like to shoot black around where the eye's are going before I put the eye's on(give's them a little depth). Then Yellow, gold or red spot then smaller black pupil. Just a little tip, look's great though.

thats a great idea, this way you can get that gold and red "halo" around the pupil that makes fish eyes look really cool.

thanks barry, i'm going to keep this one in mind next time! :o
