Nj - Raritan - Small Mouth Bass Locations?

Featured Replies

I went to somertset county, to the north branch of a raritan to try and catch some small mouth bass. Everywhere i went the water was so shallow, i could barely throw a spinner. These are the GPS coordinates that i went to.

40.592918, -74.676855

40.600308, -74.674684

40.634528, -74.686597

Was a pretty miserable experience lol

Can anyone help me out with a decent location where to the water is a little bit deeper to be able to at least throw a few spinners or senkos.

If you have GPS coordinates or exact address i would be eternally grateful.

Why fish the Raritan River for SMB? there was a huge fishkill a few years ago due to Sandy, and the river is insanely polluted.

The only thing I've caught in it are a few stripers and sunnies.

Better options in NJ would be Budd Lake and Manasquan
