Building A Rack For Poles And Shotguns

Featured Replies

hey guys.

I couldn't find anything on searches for this so I figured I'd ask. I have a Patriot Sport 9 that I've recently restored. It's a 9'x4' pond hopper that I use in low current rivers and sloughs for bass and transportation for isolated duck blinds. I'd like to build a mount that I can place a rod rack on for fishing and remove to put on a rack to secure a couple shotguns. Clearly, floor space is limited while fishing and while having 2 grown men, a bag of decoys, and two labs in my boat (weight is fine. we've tested out every scenario), we cant have our beloved duck guns on the floor. I have plenty of ideas flowing through my head but while I am working in Wyoming and my boat sits home in Cali, I can't help but obsess over it in my hotel room. Have any of y'all ever done something like this before?

thanks,

dnb
