Purple crank topcoated & two poppers

Featured Replies

I got my super-deep purple crank topcoated (sorry about the lousy pic) and I also finished up some poppers. The purple popper is foiled and then sprayed purple using Krylon X-metals paint.

Ben, very cool looking poppers.   My poppers never worked right because the clear coat filled in the cup

face and I would loose the pop.

Thanks Big M. On the poppers, I didn't try to cup the mouth; I just left it as a notch. I haven't tested them after topcoating yet but they should work as they still have a fairly deep notch. Maybe a deeper cup in your poppers it would fix the problem of epoxy building up and destroying the action.

Nice workmanship on the painting skills.

the first one is by far my favorite

great work man
