Duckett Deep Cranking Rod

Featured Replies

I have 2 duckett micro magic rods and love them.  One is the 7 foot medium cranking rod and I want to add another one to the arsenal for deep diving.  There is the 7'6 and 7'11 for this.  I want an all around for 15ft+.  Any of you guys have any experience with them.  I feel I should just got with the 7'11 rod and use it for 15+ but worried it may be too stiff if i wanna fish a little shallower like 10-12.  Any thoughts?

I Have The MH 7'11 , Not Too Stiff  , I Throw Med to Deep Cranks , Frogs , Big Traps , 1/2 to 3/4 oz Spinner Baits , Big Chatter Baits ... ETC.

The 7'6" rod was too stiff for me. It ended up being my spinnerbait and chatterbait rod until it snapped.
