B2, B1, and KB1 clones

Featured Replies

Still trying to master the older Bagley baits.   Tough patterns to carve but these came out pretty good.

I'm always amazed at how consistently you can carve round baits, Marty - - super job.

Not only a great painter, but he carve very well also. I don't have enough patience to carve a bait. Nice ones Big M.

That last bait in your first picture looks sharp Marty.

Craftsmanship is off the hook. How do they work,is the question?Paints killer but the action would be nice to see.Wobble action is it suttle or wide, or do they twist.Would like to see a video, short clip would be nice.

I have seen a couple of Marty's baits in person, and they are spectacular!  They fish awesome also.  The guy that I fish with bought some...  They are incredible!

Those baits run just like the originals that I copied them from.   The B1 and B2 clones both have very wide wobbles and for a small bait the KB1 clone has wide wobble.   The KB1 in the pic has the line tie in the nose and that gave the bait a kind of dull action that I did not like.   I like the bait better with the line tie in the lip.
