wood sealer?

Featured Replies

I'm working on a bluegill swimbait and I already cut everything out and I am wondering if I should put some type of a wood sealer on the bait before I paint it? Thanks

Forgot to mention I am using poplar.

Yes the wood has to be sealed before painting or you will get bubbles in the paint.   You can use thinned epoxy, polyurathane, super glue, and a host of other products.
