What is the best rod to get for jerkbait fishing? 

 

I love Duckett rods and know I will buy a Duckett. 

 

I have been told to get the 6'6 Medium rod or the 6'9 CRANKIN' rod for jerk bait fishing.

 

Which one would y'all pick?

    Boyd himself uses the 6'6 model. Straight from the horse's mouth.

    If you look up the article called 5 Simple Ways To Catch Fall Bass by *** Boyd mentions what rod he likes to use.

    I just got a 6'3" rod for jerk baits. Being a land locked shore fisherman, I like the shorter size for quick downward snaps and side snaps around a lot of shrubbery. I have to pick it up tomorrow so handed even handled it yet.
