Has Anyone Tried Shooter Sniper

Featured Replies

Edit: disregard what I said, I was wrong lol. Have you seen a price on this line? I'd be interested in buying a spool to compare to Shooter, Sniper, and Assassin as I have used all three.

Lmaooo I have no idea what you wrote >< JapanLureShop has it for sale. At that above link I cannot find anyone in US that has it. $15 for 110yards

I have used 8 pound Shooter Sniper Metan on my Met 13, and I like it a lot. Very soft manageable for Fluorocarbon imo. I just purchased 12 pound Shooter Sniper to try it out as much crankbait/jerkbait line.

Lol what I had written was that I thought that it wasn't a new line and that Japan Lure Shop had been selling it for a long time. But then I clicked on the link you posted and it said it was a new line so I figured I was thinking of a different line. I've been thinking about ordering another JDM Shimano so I might have to pick up a spool.

Haha. Sounds like a good plan to me. I haven't fished shooter yet just Sniper and Super Nat. My Jig set up I typically want the best line money can buy (my tournament bread and butter). This is definitely on my next JDM order. I've been reading that Shooter is more sensitive than Sniper, probably due to it being stiffer, so if this is basically a more sensitive version of Sniper I'll be all over it!

The only Shooter I have used is 22 lb. and I have it on my flippin setup. It's definitely more sensitive than 20 lb. Sniper and handles amazingly for 22 lb. line. I just use 16 and 14 lb. Sniper for everything else except for topwater and squarebills which I use Defier Armilo. Oh and punching and frogs I use FX2. Pretty much Sunline is just better than any other brand hands down.

I'm sold! I do like Sufix Siege for Top Water poppers spooks buzz baits, and spinner baits. Rather than Super Nat. Plus it's readily available locally.... Can't wait to try this Shooter Sniper also want to try Structre FC for C Rig lol check out that Sunline JP link there's tons of different types of lines any application you can think of.

I bought two spools of it. Haven't used it yet, and probably won't until spring.

May pick up some. Wonder where it fits in their lineup. Between sniper and shooter...but that price is low

$15 for 110 yards is kinda average in they're lineups.
