Looking at grabbing one of these cheap as I can find for A Rig/Swimbaits. Any of you that have one. How is 25# mono through the t wing? And also anyone know the difference between the regular and custom models besides colors and $80-$100 bucks?

Thanks

What size heads are you gonna be throwing on your a-rig? I know a lot of people like bigger reels and some like round reels, but if you are throwing 1/8 or 1/4 oz heads then a 200 size reel is sufficient as long as it holds enough line. I throw mine with a Curado E7 and Curado G7 and I have never had a problem. I use 25 lb. P-Line CXX and I have never spooled the reel. Been using these setups for a couple years and no problems yet.

I've been using a Citica 201G6 with all abecs, bushings swapped for bearings, carbontex drag, Chronarch knobs etc. the abuse is making it fall apart. The handle play is getting worse and worse in and out to and from the reel body. Moves almost a quarter inch now. :

Edit forgot to say. Like the the concept of the Tats deep spool and seems to be a solid work horse. Just really curious over the different models between here and JDM

Lexa 300 is a similar size in hand (a bit bigger). Same price and will hold 100 yards of 25lb mono. Magforce with A Rigs or Swimbaits is perfectly fine.
