Castaway Invicta Rods

Featured Replies

Was looking at different bass rods and found this rod and thought it was one of the better looking rods I have  seen. The  Winn grips set it off. Anyone have one of these and what is your opinion?

Very good rod but you must remember, these are all moderate power rods so they load up and flex through the entire blank, not just the top 1/3 of the rod. These rods are preferred by those who use braided line because the rod has give and fluorocarbon and mono both stretch so you have to take that into consideration.

Thanks small jaw.  Only been chasing bass for a year and so far just have a Duckett Ghost,  Shimano Crucial, and a couple of inexpensive Wright and Mcgill  rods. I absolutely love the Crucial and the Ghost. I wanna try some different brands and this rod just looks fantastic.  Your info was very helpful.
